BGMI 4.6 Update: Midnight Hunters, Kiaraa, One Punch Man Collaboration and More
Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) has rolled out its 4.6 Update, bringing a major mix of supernatural gameplay, new characters, collaborations and festive content. The update introduces the new Midnight Hunters mode, brings back the popular Ocean Odyssey experience and adds Kiaraa, an original character created specifically for Indian players.
The update also features collaborations with One Punch Man, Lincoln Motor Cruize and B.DUCK, while Krafton India is expanding the creative possibilities in World of Wonder.
BGMI 4.6 Update: What's New?
The biggest addition in the update is the supernatural-themed Midnight Hunters mode. It will be available on Erangel from September 16 to November 16.
Several locations on the map receive special changes. Rozhok, Mylta, Quarry and Gatka become Vampire Takeover points, while Stalber and Sosnovka Military Base are transformed into the Nightkeeper's Hunter Guild.
The Hunter Guild is an indoor combat arena featuring hidden challenges for players to discover.
Midnight Hunters Introduces Vampire Gameplay
The new mode also adds Guild Missions, giving squads special objectives to complete in exchange for higher rewards.
Another major feature is Bloodline Awakening. Under this system, eliminated players can return to the battlefield as Vampires.
Up to 20 Vampires can be active in a match, adding a new layer of gameplay to regular squad battles.
Ocean Odyssey Returns to BGMI
BGMI is also bringing back Ocean Odyssey, an underwater-themed experience that has previously been popular among players.
The mode will return to Erangel from September 30 and will include features such as:
- Ocean Palace
- Trident
- Kraken
- Underwater exploration
The return gives players another themed gameplay experience alongside the new Midnight Hunters mode.
Kiaraa: New India-First BGMI Character
One of the most notable additions is Kiaraa, an original in-game character created by Krafton India's in-house art team.
According to Krafton, Kiaraa has been created entirely in India and designed specifically for Indian players.
The character comes with her own origin story, location and collection. Kiaraa will become available from October 8.
Kiaraa Nakshatra Collection
The Kiaraa Nakshatra Collection includes several themed items, including:
- Divine Peacock Glider
- Divine Radiance SCAR-L
- Divine Chariot Buggy
- Arrow Rain Emote
- Divine Edge Machete
Players can also participate in Kiaraa Arena challenges, visit the Kiaraa Exchange Center and collect rewards through daily logins.
One Punch Man Collaboration Coming to BGMI
BGMI's 4.6 update also expands its collaboration content with the arrival of One Punch Man.
The collaboration begins on September 21 through a Spin and Mini Royale Pass.
Players will be able to collect One Punch Man character skins, themed sets and Lucky Spin items.
Lincoln Vehicles Arrive in BGMI
The Lincoln Motor Cruize collaboration begins on September 16 and runs until November 9.
Two Lincoln vehicles are being introduced:
- Lincoln Model L
- Lincoln Navigator Black Label
Both vehicles will be available with multiple colour options.
B.DUCK Gets Its Own Gameplay Experience
The update also features a collaboration with B.DUCK.
In the special experience, players can transform into B.DUCK and participate in turn-based collision battles across floating platforms.
This adds a different style of gameplay compared with BGMI's traditional battle royale matches.
World of Wonder Gets More Content
Krafton is also expanding World of Wonder (WOW) with additional creative content.
The Steal Brainrot mode receives 17 new collectible Brainrot characters inspired by themes including Halloween, Mexico's Day of the Dead, ghosts, werewolves and the Headless Horseman.
A new Ghost Ship Event Mode is also being introduced.
Players can fly onto a Ghost Ship containing a Halloween Shop and Ghost Cannonballs, which can mutate and evolve Brainrot characters.
